Artefacts –
Observing the Obvious
A collection of 33 photographs as an archive for seemingly trivial, mundane views that – due to their inconspicuousness – do not receive any further attention in our everyday life behaviour. It shows the hidden beauty of what usually only appears in the corner of the eye and puts it in the center of our attention. Through the trained view of the simple, the perception of our environment changes and helps to gain new insights.
Shot on: Mamiya RZ67, Mamiya 645 Super, Linhof Techno and Canon New F-1
Film: Kodak Ektar 100, Kodak Portra 160 & 400, Kodak T-Max 400 and Ilford Delta 100
Inkjet on photographic paper, 310 g/m2 180 x 130 mm
